Hello! I'm Courtney Young, a Charleston, South Carolina native and the head designer of Young Mermaids.

I have been sewing since I was 14 and received my education in Apparel Design from Auburn University. After graduating in 2019, I have worked with lots of brides and high end formal wear clients and in 2024 decided to launch my own bridal brand, Young Mermaids.

Young Mermaids is a custom bridal brand that creates one of a kind looks for our brides!

At Young Mermaids, I am passionate about creating custom pieces that make every bride feel confident, beautiful, and unique on their special day.
